We got chance to put the new Firstbite Veggie feast and the new Firstbite Magnetic Feeding clip to the test.

Firstbite Veggie Feast is the new herbivore focused version of Reef Feast, packed with tasty high quality frozen food its ideal for Algae Eaters.

It's frozen for freshness and contains natural seaweed which is ideal for tangs to graze on.

I’m sure you will all have heard of or perhaps have seen products claiming to contain some kind of probiotic bacteria. In truth, unless they actually list a level on the label chances are the bacteria were either not able to survive in the product or the numbers were not high enough for the product to be actually PROBIOTIC. Firstbites product has been laboratory tested and officially certified to contain 10 million cells per gram of Pediococcus Acidilactici. Pediococcus Acidilactici has a wide range of potential benefits including, relieving stress and enhancing immune response.

Firstbite Veggie Feast is produced using the same two-stage process as the super popular Reef Feast For the new product they are wet micro milling raw fresh seafood ingredients whilst blending with water-soluble hydrolysed proteins and a natural algae binder. They are then adding our live bacteria and a large percentage of chopped raw seaweed and Nori to the mix.

This is coupled with the new Firstbite Feeding Clip Grid which you can put your Reef Feast, Veggie feast or just plain old seaweed in to enjoy.

We figured you guys would want to know how strong that magnet i[s so in our video (below) we put it to the test, but the results were that even on our 19mm glass aquarium the clip held well enough for the tanks to eat the veggie feast. We didn't however try this with seaweed which can be a little tougher for the fish to pull off. Perhaps another video for that testing seaweed clips another day :)

Both products are available now from our online store
