Recently Ecotech Marine launched their new versions of the long standing Vectra return pumps. These pumps are the S2, M2 and L2 return pumps. For those of you who doesn't know that is... S for small, M for Medium and L for you guessed it Large. with 2 being the version of the pumps (version 2)

As an LFS, Online store and big social media advocates we see on a daily basis a lot of places where reef keepers make accidental errors, start up their tanks in the wrong way or just generally have problems. This is our top 10 list of reef keeping mistakes. They are in no particular order but all are important.

Reef Feast is produced in a two-stage process first we wet mill natural seafood ingredients whilst blending with water-soluble hydrolysed proteins and a natural algae binder. The second stage involves the addition of whole Calanus, Krill, Mysis shrimp, Copepods and raw seaweed.

There's a high chance if you're reading this then you're new to the marine hobby, you may already have a freshwater tank or just be looking to dive straight into the fascinating world of marine aquariums. It's our opinion that a marine tank is no harder to keep than a freshwater aquarium. The basics are ultimately the same, keep your water quality good and the fish and coral will take care of themselves.
