Finest Filters crushed coral filter media is a highly efficient biological filter media for use in marine tanks and freshwater tanks which need a higher pH such as African Cichlids.

This crushed coral is supplied in 1kg bags. Please select the QTY required from the drop down menu when ordering.

The size of each piece varies from 1cm to 6cm in size, so is quite a large size meaning it can be used in most external filter trays or sump tanks.

Crushed coral is a natural pH buffer, and will help to buffer the water to a pH of 8.2-8.3. It will also help to buffer GH and KH levels.

When using as a bio-media, we recommend using around 100g per 100 litres of water.
