Seachem SeaGel 500ml

SeaGel is a blend of Matrix Carbon and PhosGuard, and is optimised specifically for aquaria where organic colour body and acid removal is required without the introduction of phosphate.

Seachem Matrix Carbon is a truly unique activated carbon, and its high performance is based on its spherical bead shape, the only of its kind on the market today. This permits maximum waterflow and contact, whilst preventing the risk of packing together. Matrix Carbon is a bituminous coal-based, macroporous carbon, which helps remove larger organic molecules such as nitrogenous waste.

PhosGuard rapidly removes phosphate and silicate from marine and freshwater aquaria. Due to its spherical shape and highly porous quality, it allows maximum water flow and contact giving optimal results. It is not recommended for phosphate buffered freshwater.

Directions

For best results, SeaGel should be rinsed before use and placed in your filter so as to maximize the flow of water through it. Use caution, since product will fizz and heat on initial wetting. Use 250 ml for each 150–225 L (40–60 US gallons). Use in a filter bag. SeaGel will function for 3–4 months.
