Dotted Fairy Wrasse

The Dotted Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus punctatus) is reddish overall with a faint blue dotted pattern but exact coloration can vary with geographic region. Males develop purple-blue base color with dark stripes along the dorsal and anal fins. All exhibit a small dark bar at the base of the pectoral fins.

They can adapt better than some other fairy wrasses to captivity but still may need occasional live foods like brine shrimp or copepods.
