The Finest-Filters 4 stage RO unit with booster pump is ideal for ultra pure water production in a range of applications, and especially in situations where the water pressure is too low for effective water production rate from an un-pumped system. This is a very advanced RO unit, with a built in booster pump, automatic membrane back flush, pressure gauge, high pressure and low pressure switch.

The built in booster pump ensures the optimal water pressure is supplied into the RO unit for the best rejection rate and water production speed, saving both time and water. The automatic flush unit will operate periodically and back flush the RO membrane. This will prolong the life of the filters, and eliminates the need to manually back flush the membrane. The built in pressure gauge displays the water pressure (psi) to give piece of mind that the RO unit is working at the optimal water pressure.

Considerations before buying a Reverse Osmosis unit:

The process of producing RO water is very slow due to the intensity of the filtration process.
For an RO unit to be able to produce pure water, it needs to reject the majority of the water that goes into it. You will tend to get around 1 part pure water to 4 parts waste water. For example, every 10 litres of water that goes into the unit, you will get around 2-3 litres of pure RO water and the other 7-8 litres would go to waste.
This RO unit is purely for producing pure RO water. If you are using it for producing drinking water, you will need to remineralise the water before drinking due to the purity of the water the unit produces.
Due to the time it takes to produce RO water, If the water is going directly to a tap, you would also need a Pressurised Storage Tank so you always have water on hand ready for when the tap is opened.

This unit is available in three different sizes (50gpd, 75gpd and 100gpd). gpd = gallons of product water (approx) produced per day. These 4 stage units have a DI chamber, which is supplied filled with high quality DI Resin. After passing through the membrane, the filtered water is passed through the DI resin, to reduce the Total Dissolved Solids to 0.

This is a 4 stage RO unit, which will produce 0 TDS water.

Stage 1: 5 Micron Sediment Filter cartridge. (Removes sediments from the water).

Stage 2: Carbon Block Filter cartridge. (Removes Trihalomethanes, Pesticides, Volatile Organic Chemicals and 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts).

Stage 3: High quality Vontron membrane element. (Removed contaminants present in water including up to 99% of dissolved salts, Lead, Copper, Barium, Bacterial By-Products, Oestrogen and Silica.

Stage 4: High quality DI Resin. (Removes any further dissolved solids in the water, and 'polishes' the water, ensuring the TDS is 0).

Please also Note:

The booster pump fitted to the unit is not rated for continuous use. The pump can run for a maximum of 2 hours then would need to rest for 15 to 30 mins. If you need to run the unit for long periods it is best to use a plug-in timer to turn the pump on and off as required.
These units are designed for use with mains water pressure as a low pressure switch needs to be activated correctly for the unit to work.
If this unit is being used for drinking water, a remineralization stage would need to be added.
